let’s create

individual works of art

A custom invitation allows you to set the tone for your wedding. Want to have fun? Play with color and texture. Want a formal night? Make bold printing choices on stark white paper. Custom invitations let you set the scene for the wedding you want to have. Say it loud with elements that bring out your personality and style to make a memorable piece everyone will love and look forward to.

The Process

  • What is your design aesthetic? We’ll meet, email or chat about the overall vision you want for your wedding and get an in-depth idea of how we can make it special. After a clear direction, I will work up a concept and proposal for you as well as an estimated timeline.

  • After you complete your Wedding Questionnaire (sent after approval of proposal) and a 50% deposit, I’ll starting putting ideas to paper and send over a digital proof to review. A mix of printing methods and textures create an memorable first impression to your guests. All design is intentional and a reason behind every choice. This is your suite, it should feel like you.

  • During the revision phase, we will tweak fonts and calligraphy, colors, wording and anything that needs a little attention. Once we love it, a contract will be send to sign and say we are approved to print.

  • Now the fun part begins when it all comes to life. I delicately put each suite together and seal to mail. I basically live at the post office so I will send your invitations out with care when we are ready to mail. Depending on what printing processes we use, it typically takes 2-4 weeks for production.

Printing Techniques

  • Bree Moore Design Digital Ink Printing

    Digital Print

    High resolution, full-color printing.

  • Bree Moore Design Thermography

    Thermography

Resin is sprinkled on wet ink and exposed to heat. When fused together, it raises the lettering that’s similar to engraving but for a fraction of the cost.

  • Bree Moore Design White Ink

    White Ink Printing

When using darker paper, white ink really pops on the page. A white toner ink is needed for this technique.

  • Bree Moore Design Foil Printing

    Foil Printing

High-shine foil hot stamped into paper. Gold, Silver, Rose Gold Foil and more options available.

  • Bree Moore Design Blind Letterpress Printing

    Blind Letterpress

Custom design created and then made into a plate then stamped into cotton paper on a letterpress machine. Blind means no ink, only impression.

  • Bree Moore Design Letterpress Printing

    Letterpress

Custom design created and then made into a plate then stamped into cotton paper on a letterpress machine. We can do multiple inks and plates.

  • Bree Moore Design Embossing

    Embossing

This technique creates a raised, three-dimensional effect with no ink. Two plates are made and the paper is pressed between to make this effect.

  • Bree Moore Design Die Cut Shape

    Custom Die Cut

The paper is cut to a custom shape using a special die. This is a unique shape to your suite. A simple die cut is a simple shape like oval or circle.
